Purpose
Reporting to the 7IM Group Accountant, this role is to support the group accounting function of the finance team. It offers exposure to entities growing both organically and inorganically and provides an excellent development opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented part-qualified accountant looking to progress their career at an exciting, growing business.
Responsibilities
1. Assist with the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts for a group composed of both regulated and unregulated entities.
2. Assist with the preparation of consolidated results for lenders and shareholders reporting packs.
3. Assist with the production of the first draft of annual statutory accounts for the non-trading entities of the group.
4. Reconcile all intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with Group Transfer Pricing policy.
5. Review and report on the daily liquidity position across the group.
6. Bank entries and bank reconciliations of all non-trading entities.
7. Balance sheet reconciliations for all non-trading entities.
8. Processing staff expenses for payment and being a point of contact on all business expenses matters.
9. Provide cover for the Accounts Payable controller.
10. Other, as reasonably required by line manager and 7IM.

Knowledge
1. Systems literate (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
2. Experience with SunSystems/Q&A and Proactis expense module advantageous.
Qualifications
1. Studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
2. Have at least 2 years experience in a similar finance-based role.
Other Relevant Information
The role will comprise a mixture of regular tasks, ad hoc tasks, and cover for other roles as the Finance department operates very much as a team.
