We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse duties with computer-based tasks, so we’re looking for someone who’s just as comfortable using a spreadsheet as they are pulling and packing stock.
Job Title: Stores Operative
Location: Ashford
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm (on a rota)
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurate data entry using Excel and internal systems Email communication with internal teams and suppliers
* Picking and pulling items from shelves
* Scanning and packing orders for shipment
* Checking delivery notes and incoming goods for accuracy
* General organisation and tidiness of the storeroom
Requirements:
* Computer literate - confident using Excel and email Excellent attention to detail - accuracy is essential
* Strong organisational and teamwork skills Physically capable of manual handling tasks
Desirable:
A valid UK driving licence - a bonus, but not essential
