Thrive may look and feel like a coffee shop but it is a dedicated safe space for care leavers and young people furthest from the job market to meet with the adults who care for them including support workers and social workers.
Thrive partners with employers and organisations across the Liverpool City Region to ensure young people can access the wrap-around support they need to live happy, safe and fulfilling lives.
Young people aged 18-24 can choose to attend Thrive as an alternative to their local job centre receiving 1:2:1 intensive employability support from our dedicated team.
Thrive Objectives
1. Provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment where care leavers can meet with the adults who care for them.
2. Connect young people with the organisations and services needed for them to live happy, safe and fulfilling lives.
3. Provide 1:2:1 intensive employability support.
4. Provide information about careers for young people aged 16–24 in receipt of Universal Credit and/or in the care system.
5. Build relationships across the City Region to ensure young people attending Thrive have access to services and opportunities.
Role
Thrive is seeking a Relationship Manager to help extend our reach across Liverpool City Region.
This is a key role within Thrive that will be vital in helping us to connect young people with services/support organisations who deliver debt advice, housing advice, wellness and coaching services, promotion of better health and much more.
Our Relationship Manager will also be responsible for building relationships with employers who can support our work by offering mentoring, mock interviews, work experience and job opportunities.
The role works flexibly with the post-holder having time in Thrive balanced with time in the community.
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £34k pa
Location: Liverpool City Centre / Community events
Essential Skills
1. Must have a track record of building and developing relationships across multiple organisations.
2. Experience of networking.
3. Must be passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.
4. Must be proficient in IT systems and social media platforms.
5. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including verbal, listening, written and non-verbal.
6. Must be highly organised with the ability to manage a busy diary.
7. Must be committed to being part of a small team, listening to ideas and feedback and acting on these where relevant.
8. Demonstrate the ability to work with employers/partners to create programs/projects leading to outcomes that better the lives of young people.
9. Have the ability to manage your own time independently, in the office and the community.
