Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker Leader Education are recruiting for Behaviour Support Workers to work at a large SEMH school based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEND on a 1:1 basis. The school caters for young people aged 5-18 years old who have SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) School based experience is essential for this role and even more so if you have supported pupils with SEMH / SEN needs. The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm The successful candidate will have: Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with challenging behaviour or additional needs. A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with complex behavioural needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond effectively to the changing needs of students and the school.
