Job Title: Forum Manager
Location: Lancashire
Salary: £45k - £47k Permanent Full Time with benefits including partial home-based working, pension, healthcare, great holidays, mileage, and more.
Office: Based in Accrington
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexibility to work from home part of the week

This role will report directly to the Chair of the Forum Board and will play a key role in supporting both the Board and Forum members to achieve its vision.
The Forum was formed in 2006 and is a collective group of over 20 members, including Independent Training Providers, FE Colleges, Universities, and Employer Providers, who deliver Government-funded contracts across the country. The Forum supports its members to provide the highest quality learning opportunities to young people and adults for the benefit of employers and the wider society in Lancashire.
Our vision for the Forum is clear: we want to ensure that Apprenticeships and routes into Apprenticeships are recognized as valid pathways into Higher Education (HE) and for career progression.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Board of Directors at a strategic level to contribute to setting annual objectives and budgets.
2. Act as company secretary and ensure compliance with appropriate legislation.
3. Promote the Forum and its services through effective partnership management.
4. Ensure team members understand the Forum's direction and their contributions to its success.
Qualifications:
1. Strong knowledge of work-based learning regarding Apprenticeships, Ofsted, and funding agency standards.
2. Highly effective communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
3. Experience in managing budgets and understanding financial planning is advantageous.
