A market-leading design & distribution business are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
* Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in Xero and rectify anomalies.
* Produce accounts to trial balance.
* Post all Purchase Invoices and Sales Invoices onto the CRM software.
* Enter data, maintain supplier and customer accounts, process expense claims.
* Assist with processing accounts receivable/payable and payroll when needed.
* Chase and process expense claims on credit card purchases and reconcile in Xero
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven bookkeeping experience
* Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
* Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
* Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and Xero software
* Proficiency in English and in MS Office
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Desirable: AAT Level 3
