Position: Support Worker - Client Residential Home
Location: Meldreth, Nr Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border (SG8 postcode)
Salary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Annual Salary: £24,375 - £26,582 (based on a 40-hour week)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Training: Full training provided, with funding for the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care upon completion of probation.

Our client, a residential home rated Outstanding by the CQC, is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Support Workers.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs.

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in a range of duties designed to promote independence and support the well-being of the young adults.
- Personal Care: Assisting with all aspects of personal hygiene, including toileting, dressing, and maintaining personal appearance.
- Medical and Therapeutic Support: Supporting the young adults with their medical needs, including assisting with therapies such as rebound therapy and hydrotherapy in our newly renovated pool.
- Activity Support: Encouraging and supporting the young adults to engage in a variety of activities, such as running their own day-to-day routines, participating in the site's enterprise scheme, going on shopping trips, attending forestry lessons, or even enjoying social outings.
