Job Title: Cabinet Maker/Joiner
Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 - Temp to Permanent
Hours: 47.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri) - Potential opportunity for overtime advised on a weekly basis.
Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Are you passionate about creating exquisite bespoke joinery and looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills? If so, our client, a leading manufacturer and installer of bespoke joinery, is searching for a dedicated Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join their dynamic team.
The Job:
The work is very much a manual and physical job involving the lifting of large, heavy, and sometimes awkward items. It is important that the applicant is physically fit to undertake this work. The role will be diverse, manufacturing a wide variety of cabinetry and joinery items, including but not limited to:
* Reception desks
* Bars and serveries
* Kitchens
* Wardrobes
* Seating
* Wall and ceiling paneling
* Credenzas
* Display units
You will work with a wide range of materials including real wood veneers, solid timber, MDF, laminate, melamine boards, glass, stone, metalwork, Corian, and other solid surface materials.
Competencies:
* Operation of a panel saw, spindle moulder, planer, and thicknesser
* Use of handheld routers, jigsaws, planers, saws, and general handheld power tools
* Experience in veneering is preferred but not essential
* Experience in Corian and other solid surface fabrication is preferred but not essential
* Experience in laminating
* Operation of drum sanders and edge banders is preferred but not essential
* Spraying experience is not required but will be looked upon positively
* Reading workshop drawings
* Construction of cabinetry and joinery items as listed above
