This technical role focuses on ensuring compliance with FCA Pricing Practices rules and guidelines. You will concentrate on radar support and stakeholder management, leveraging your expertise to optimise pricing strategies and ensure regulatory adherence. This position does not involve direct reports, allowing you to dedicate your efforts to technical aspects and effective collaboration with stakeholders.What will I be doing?nDesigning, implementing, and maintaining pricing systems and strategies that increase value by optimising acquisition and retention of AA Insurance.nTaking a leading role in the Pricing Team’s design, development, and implementation of changes required to ensure compliance with FCA Pricing Practices rules and guidance.nBuilding and maintaining robust pricing models and price test strategies to support high-quality pricing analyses in line with market best practice and ensuring high-quality MI to monitor results.nPerforming competitor analysis, considering past market trends and modelling future scenarios.nSupporting external partners by producing analyses to help improve conversion, retention, footprint, and underwriting performance.nMaintaining (and improving where appropriate) the use of robust controls in the creation, maintenance, and release of pricing models, systems, and analyses.nProviding analyses to support business cases and financial modelling.nEnsuring high quality of analyses, with efficient data extraction and cleansing, and timely reporting.nCoaching, training, and developing Pricing Analysts and Senior Pricing Analysts to aid succession planning and help ensure that business goals are met.nWhat do I need?nTrack record of complex financial and consumer modelling with a particular focus on technical insurance pricing.nTechnical proficiency in, and demonstrated successful experience with, Willis Towers Watson’s Radar Optimiser and Radar Live software is essential.nExtensive analytical experience gained in a data-rich environment with a minimum of three years’ experience using analytical tools such as SAS and Databricks.nExperience in analytical techniques applied to the pricing of Personal Lines Insurance business.nExperience in lifetime value and customer relationship management strategies.nExperience in developing and implementing change within business and IT systems.nCommercially focused.nStrong communicator of complex issues to business management.nDriven, self-starting individual with the passion and energy to improve the business and see things through to completion.nAbility to effectively plan and prioritise work and resources, with the capability to work independently.nDemonstrable appetite to broaden your knowledge and develop your skills.nAdditional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
