Part Time, Term Time, Casual (contract up to 12 weeks)
KGS has a growing reputation for cricket in the region, with a strong sense of supporting aspirational individual development, whilst helping all our students enjoy the game. The school is looking to appoint a sessional cricket coach for the summer term to further enhance the quality of cricket coaching provision.
The role of the sessional cricket coach is to lead the delivery and planning of coaching sessions for students from U12-U18. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and demonstrate a passion to develop cricketers of all age and ability.
We are looking for an individual who can communicate clearly to students and staff alike in developing a positive culture throughout the cricket programme. Significant coaching experience will be essential and should be supplemented by good organisational and administrative skills. The individual should be a role model to students, but also other staff in setting the tone for KGS cricket sessions through the summer term. Saturday fixtures play a key part in the sports programme and the ability to commit to these timings is essential.
A competitive hourly rate is on offer, dependent on skills and experience, and a full is available on request.
