Benefits Free Parking Career Progression 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company Pension Day to Day Duties Design and Development: Create and develop mechanical systems, products, and components using CAD software, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency Prototyping and Testing: Build prototypes, run simulations, and conduct tests to evaluate product performance and make necessary adjustments Analysis and Problem Solving: Analyse problems related to mechanical systems, diagnose faults, and develop solutions to improve efficiency or fix issues Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, product designers, and manufacturing staff, to ensure integrated solutions Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and detailed documentation for designs, processes, and test results Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and government regulations, including safety codes and environmental guidelines Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and engineering advancements to apply innovative solutions in new and existing projects Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Provide support for the maintenance of mechanical systems and troubleshoot issues in both production and field environments Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Strong analytical and communication skills Experience in product design, prototyping, and testing Desirable Experience Previous experience within the Water Industry would be desirable Training Training is provided Apply Apply today by clicking below
