The Role:
They are currently seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join their growing technology squads. As a Tech Lead, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of technology within the organisation. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, championing best practices, driving delivery excellence, and mentoring engineers to achieve their full potential.

The Responsibilities:
* Provide technical leadership across the squad, setting the standard for quality, scalability, and simplicity in architecture and code.
* Lead the design and implementation of critical workstreams, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives.
* Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
* Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to define and prioritise the technical roadmap.
* Promote best practices in agile and DevOps methodologies, embedding a culture of continuous improvement in the team.
* Guide the team through technical challenges and decision-making, maintaining a solutions-focused mindset.
* Advocate for innovation and experimentation while balancing the need for stability and delivery.
The Tech:
Core Stack: Proficiency in C# .NET with Entity Framework.
Front-End Development: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React and NextJS
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, RDS MySQL) and other public cloud platforms.
Practices: Familiarity with agile development, DevOps principles, and pair programming.
Leadership: Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence in a collaborative environment.
Mindset: Passion for building scalable, maintainable systems with a focus on simplicity and clean design.
The Interview Process:
Step 1: Initial virtual meeting to discuss your qualifications, leadership style, and career aspirations.
Step 2: Pair programming exercise to assess technical skills, followed by an in-depth technical interview (whiteboarding, problem-solving, and process discussions).
