Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for two motivated and well organised people to join our already established Radiology Bookings team, working at County Hall, Taunton. The job role involves providing a high quality bookings service for patients in line with internal guidelines and within set National targets. This is a very busy role with high volume calls and would suit a customer care driven individual who is able to use their initiative and have the ability to cope with the demands of the service and work effectively as a team member. Main duties of the job On a daily basis book appointments for all radiology modalities including community hospitals either electronic or paper referrals. To work in a busy contact centre style environment with high volume incoming and outgoing calls. this also includes sending letters out via the Synertec service or in-house. To use different hospital systems e.g., Radiology Information System (RIS) and main hospital system MAXIMS hospital system. To follow internal flow charts, scripts, bookings processes and other information when making bookings and advise on patient preparation.
