What Will You Be Doing?
Main responsibilities of the role include to:
15. Review and code purchase invoices for Accountants approval, challenging any unexpected expenses with Group Management
16. Prepare and post accruals
17. Prepare monthly expense reimbursement
18. Prepare final bank reconciliations
19. Assist Accountant with full monthly accounts preparation to arrive at a final monthly profit figure
20. Oversee Central Group Accounts function, including Central Credit Control Team
21. Ensure payments are made by customers at the time agreed within their terms, maintaining fair relationships with customers to ensure an on-going profitable relationship
22. Express view/decision re. ‘risk’ accounts and handle queries that may arise
23. Offer support to Group Accountant as required
24. Follow Head Office policies and communicate all issues with Group Accountant on a daily basis
25. Approve new account opening forms and credit limits
26. Facilitate team workload
27. Lead weekly team reviews and support effective credit control management
Who Are We Looking for?
Successful candidates will:
28. Have previous Accounts experience in particular, experience of credit control and accounts receivable processes
29. Have previous team management/leadership experience
30. Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal
31. Possess the ability to multi task and problem solve
32. Perform well under pressure and deadlines
33. Show an excellent eye for detail
34. Have good IT software skills
35. Demonstrate an excellent team player mentality
An AAT qualification and Keyloop experience would be advantageous for this position.
