The post holder will act in a senior role in the Haemodialysis unit, working closely to support the Unit Manager to ensure patient safety and positive patient experience.
The postholder should have a strong clinical Haemodialysis background, with good communication skills, able to liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate dialysis for outpatients, inpatients, and critical care.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of a caring and passionate nursing team you will responsibly deliver planned, direct patient care to a high standard in accordance with the Trust's established nursing procedures.
The post holder will work across the James Cook and Friarage sites providing support to both teams.
Leading by example you will promote the safeguarding, well-being, and interests of all patients whilst taking personal responsibility for ensuring the needs of patients are achieved.

Haemodialysis experience is essential for this role; you will support and mentor junior staff and ensure patient safety.
The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team.

Experience
* Strong Haemodialysis experience
Qualifications and Training
* Diploma in Nursing or healthcare degree
* Current NMC Registration
* Attendance at the leadership and development and improvement programme (4.5 days)
Knowledge and Skills
* Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
* Effectively prioritises and co-ordinates own work.
* Experience working within Haemodialysis
* Good information technology skills
