If so, we have a great opportunity as a Sewer Renovation Team Leader to join our Sewer Renovations team which provides a vital service helping to ensure we supply water and provide sewerage services.
What you'll do
As one of our Sewer Renovation Team Leaders, you will work in a team carrying out repairs on sewer assets to make sure they meet quality and customer service standards.
Day to day, you will work on the waste network undertaking repairs and civil reinstatements on sewer pipes, rising mains and manhole chambers.
You will be working in a variety of locations including customers' properties and gardens, highways and farmers' fields.
You will be a part of a great team where you will coach, mentor and guide the operatives within your team and larger teams on a day-to-day basis.
You will be working outdoors dealing with different challenges every day and providing a vital service to our customers.
You will work across Avonmouth and the surrounding areas with the main depot being based in West Huntspill.
In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a monthly bonus on the completion of your probationary period. You will also have access to a company vehicle.
What you'll need
You will have a positive can-do attitude, a great work ethic and be dedicated to doing a good job.
You will be well-organised and customer-focused as well as being a great team player.
Previous experience working in the construction industry would be beneficial. Alongside this, you'll have experience operating all plant machinery such as an excavator or dumper.
It is essential to hold a valid UK driving licence and have proven towing experience.
