Job Title - ER Coordinator

Overview
To provide administrative support to the People Advisors team, enabling them to focus on offering advice. Your duties will include booking meetings, sending invites, preparing evidence packs, taking notes, and providing policy guidance to queries escalated from the People Services team.
Accountabilities
1. Arrange investigation and hearings meetings ensuring rooms are booked, invites are sent with the appropriate evidence packs, within the timelines set out in the policies.
2. Take notes at key ER meetings.
3. Confidently respond to incoming telephone and WorkDay tickets on HR policy interpretation.
4. Escalate to the People Advisors any enquiries which require deeper investigation/advice. Monitor and ensure a resolution has been reached after a query has been escalated to ensure HR KPI’s are met or exceeded.
5. Ensure people services processes and standard correspondence are fit for purpose, compliant, and in line with Southern Water’s employer brand, liaising with offshore as appropriate.
6. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of employment law, best practice, and internal policies and procedures.
7. Any other duties as required.
Skills
1. Excellent IT skills (office suite) and other HR systems.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge
1. Knowledge of HR policies and processes and the ability to work within set parameters.
2. Understanding of governance and compliance policies, including Data Protection principles.
Qualifications
· CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
