Job summary We are recruiting for a Clinical Rotational Oncology Pharmacist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. This role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a pharmacist who is looking to develop their hospital pharmacy and oncology knowledge in a wide range of cancer treatments including clinical trials at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Previous experience of working in a hospital or community pharmacy and any previous experience in oncology would be desirable. Pre-registration trainees are also welcome to apply for this role. You will be expected to work closely with nursing and medical staff and with patients. You will be supported by a team of oncology pharmacists, to deliver pharmaceutical services to patients on day case units and wards. In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,552 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata. To act as a clinic, ward and day-case unit oncology pharmacist providing pharmaceutical care to cancer patients on a rotational basis To provide highly specialised advice concerning the pharmaceutical care of cancer patients as appropriate, to patients, relatives and other health professional colleagues including senior consultant medical staff.
