Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a driven and enthusiastic Form 4 teacher and Head of Music, with a passion for learning and a desire to maximise the potential of each child on their journey through the School. The role will be 1-year fixed term in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent. The appointee will be responsible for teaching Form 4 and also leading and teaching music across the School. This role will suit a passionate teacher, with a firm understanding of current pedagogy and assessment practices, including in music, and a desire to engage in the wider life of the School. This exciting role brings with it the opportunity to take music at St Wystan’s to the next level, both developing and nurturing potential and showcasing our many talents. We are a warm family-oriented community with a strong emphasis upon the holistic needs of our children as well as sound academics. We pride ourselves on knowing our children well and creating a personalised learning journey for each and every one of them. We can offer the right candidate small classes, happy and responsive pupils, and a supportive working environment.
