The Paediatric team at ESHT are inviting you to apply for the post of Consultant General Paediatrician with experience in Paediatric diabetes.
This is a replacement post to complete the Paediatric Diabetes Multi-disciplinary team of two consultants, three Paediatric Diabetic Senior Nurses, a Dietician and Psychologist.
Main duties of the job
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly motivated, supportive and forward thinking diabetes team. You will lead Diabetes MDT clinics, participate in the weekly diabetes MDT meeting and out of hour's diabetes phone support service. The team work cross site. Each site has a named consultant and a diabetes transition clinic to adult diabetes care for young people aged 16-17 years of age.
The successful applicant will undertake consultant of the weekduties on a 1:10 basis at Conquest Hospital, non-resident cross site on-call responsibilities (1:10) in addition to SSPAU shifts at the Conquest and DGH.
The job plan will be based on up to 10 PAs allowing for flexible working.
