ABOUT PAVILION EXMOUTH
Nestled on the beautiful Exmouth seafront, Pavilion Exmouth is a 541-seater theatre and vibrant entertainment venue. It hosts a
variety of performances, from musicals and comedy to ballet, and serves as a creative hub for the community. As Duty Manager,
you’ll work alongside a passionate team to deliver memorable experiences for our guests. This role is pivotal in managing our
café, bar, and event operations, contributing to Pavilion’s lively and welcoming atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Supervision
* Act as deputy for the General Manager, managing staff and ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Supervise cash handling, till returns, stock control, and retail activities.
* Manage security as a keyholder and respond to alarm callouts when required.
Event & Audience Management
* Collaborate with on-duty staff to prepare the auditorium and manage Front of House operations.
* Maximise food and beverage revenue, overseeing bar and café services.
Customer Engagement & Service
* Deliver exceptional customer service, handling complaints confidently and professionally.
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Oversee First Aid, emergency response, and adherence to Health and Safety regulations (training provided if needed).
Additional Responsibilities
* Take on specific responsibilities in areas like Finance,or Bar Catering, supporting the Pavilion’s financial and operational
goals.
* Ensure that all necessary training is completed and up-to-date for yourself and your team.
