Lead Software Developer
A typical candidate will:
1. be self-motivating, capable of working independently;
2. have a good (1st/2.1) first degree or a PhD in a numerate discipline;
3. have a strong academic background typically including A's in A-level Maths and Physics;
4. have strong verbal and written presentation skills;
5. have 3 or more years software development experience, preferably in C/C++;
6. have used source control systems such as subversion;
7. have developed and maintained complex real-world systems;
8. understand the importance of clear, efficient software design;
9. be familiar with using and configuring Linux systems.
The candidate will be responsible for:
1. developing software for network security applications;
2. developing novel signal, image, or data processing applications in C/C++;
3. developing user interfaces in HTML/Typescript/Javascript;
4. providing support and training to our customers in using the software;
5. mentoring and leading others.
Remuneration:
1. Salary dependent on experience.
2. Discretionary annual bonus based on company performance.
