ACR Recruitment & Training LTD are looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Nursery Practitioner and Nursery Practitioner with a minimum Level 2 qualification and knowledge of the EYFS to join our successful team, working in Childcare settings throughout Witney, Oxfordshire.
Nursery Nurse Qualification:
Level 2 or 3 Early years/ Nursery Qualifications and Level 2 or 3 TA
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring high-quality care and education.
Plan, implement, and oversee age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Monitor and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and professional development.
Work closely with parents and carers, providing feedback and updates on their child’s development.
Ensure all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding measures are adhered to.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety within the nursery.
Assist in organising events, outings, and parent engagement activities.
Contribute to curriculum planning, ensuring engaging and diverse learning experiences.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will
Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children in accordance with the EYFS framework.
Plan and implement engaging learning and play activities to support child development.
Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and progress.
Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, nappy changes, and toilet training (where applicable).
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery environment, including cleaning toys and equipment.
Assist with meal and snack times, ensuring dietary requirements and allergies are followed.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting concerns when necessary.
Participate in training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through play and interaction.
Qualifications:
Experience in childcare or early childhood education
Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to interact with and manage children in a nursery setting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
