As the Area Sales Manager within High Performance Flooring you will be covering the North West, Midlands and Wales and developing existing accounts and creating new business within the Resin Flooring Market.
1. Produce a business plan to develop and deliver the maximum sales, volumes, and profit
2. Prepare and perform presentations
3. Visit and develop relationships with Flooring Contractors and Specifiers
4. Visiting key, opportunity, new & existing accounts
5. Identify and secure new business in our market areas
6. Establish and build solid relationships both internally and externally
7. Provide advice on Flooring systems and our product line
8. Handle any potential customer complaints or claims
9. Understand the needs of our customers and translate those into cost effective specifications
10. Organizing trials, training, and demos. Assist in the correct execution of Flooring projects on site, in association with Technical Service Department
11. Provide advance information on demand for products
12. Negotiate term contracts for supplies
13. Negotiate price increases as advised by the business
14. Ensure price increases are adhered to and the margin is protected
15. Liaise with colleagues in customer service to develop existing customer relationships
16. Ensure internal reporting and tracking mechanisms are utilized
17. Maintain accurate records and files
18. To encourage and develop a team culture both within own team and across the Company
19. Produce servicing plans for new and existing business
20. Analyze market trends, identify opportunities and threats
21. Co-ordinate monthly demand forecasts and identify any major fluctuations
22. Ongoing SWOT analysis and any budgetary adjustments that may be necessary
23. Provide monthly update report on progress, losses, market conditions and competitor activity
24. Work with the project development team to ensure the region is in the place to secure all available projects
25. Assist and supports ASM’s in the execution of their function and sets a role model example.
26. Ensures the territory sales execution plan is implemented in line with the set objectives and strategic plan.
Qualifications/ Experience:
27. Degree desirable
28. A level or equivalent, degree desirable
29. Experience in the flooring industry, specifically resins technology
Knowledge:
30. Resin Flooring knowledge essential
31. Sales Management skills
32. Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SFDC) Is able to communicate in the territory’s languages

38. Experience in a sales role within a resin flooring or similar environment but must have experience of the customer base in the relevant market area.
39. Valid driving license.
