We are looking for a salaried GP to provide maternity cover for one year. The post can be part-time or full-time (up to 8 sessions per week). You would be part of a large multi-disciplinary team in a busy practice with a list size of 15,300 patients.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include assessing, diagnosing and treating patients in the surgery and in their own home (maximum of one home visit per day). After an initial period (3 months), you will take part in the duty rota which mainly involves telephone triage.

The practice is based in a medium-sized town with a number of surrounding villages. The practice has expanded significantly in recent years due to an increase in development in the area.
The team works very well together, and staff are approachable and helpful. The clinical system in use is SystemOne.

1. General practitioner - fully registered with the General Medical Council and be on the list established in accordance with the provisions of the National Health Service (performers list).
