Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey – Hybrid working of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week from home
A Vessel Operations Engineer is required to work on an initial 12 month contract basis that will provide the flexibility to work on a hybrid set up of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week from home.
As the Vessel Operations Engineer, you will have experience of offshore projects and ideally have experience within offshore installation.

As the Vessel Operations Engineer, you will follow the preparation and activities of the MSV. In particular MSV scope will be:
• Mobilization activities, including wet buckle contingency and pre-commissioning spread preparation onboard.
• Pre-lay survey
• Anchor pile installation and support to Castorone for initiation PLET installation (compensation buoy installation and retrieval).
• Touch down point monitoring during Castorone pipelay campaign (readiness to intervene in case of wet buckle)
• Support to Castorone for laydown PLET installation (compensation buoy installation and retrieval).
• Anchor pile removal
• Pre-commissioning campaign (flooding, cleaning and gauging)
• Final demob
Vessel Operation Engineer duties during project preparation include:
• Liaising with the engineering team to guarantee all the required documentation is prepared, shared and commented by the vessel crew
As the Vessel Operations Engineer, you will follow up of procurement of all the items requested by the vessel for the project execution
• Interface with vessel team to guarantee project requirements are met
As the Vessel Operations Engineer, you will interface with ASSETs dept. to guarantee the marine spread readiness
Vessel Operation Engineer duties during offshore operations include:
• Liaising with the onshore PMT, VMT, OCM and CLIENT representative to ensure that the requirements of CLIENT specifications and the CONTRACTOR installation manual are followed.
• Assists the OCM in all engineering aspects and advise on project specific items.
• Completion of onsite technical queries and management of change requests as required during offshore operations.
As the Vessel Operations Engineer, you will review and approval of task plans pertaining to pipeline operations which are written offshore, to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Jointly responsible with the QC Coordinator for ensuring the correct revisions of documents are available on-board.
