Were seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Executive to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for social media, content creation, and building strong brand communities, particularly within the hospitality industry.
Job Summary:
As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media channels, creating engaging content, and increasing brand awareness across all platforms. You will work closely with theHead of Marketing, who you will report to directly. Together, youll brainstorm and develop creative ideas for campaigns and content to ensure consistent and effective brand messaging. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone looking to balance work and other commitments, with flexibility around 3 working days per week (approximately 21-24 hours).
Hospitality experience or a strong familiarity with hospitality-related content creation is essentialto help capture the essence of our brand and communicate it effectively across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Content Creation & Management:
o Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), with a focus on showcasing the vibrant, dynamic nature of our restaurant group.
o Work alongside the Head of Marketing to align content with broader marketing strategies and goals.
o Develop visual and written content, including images, videos, graphics, and blog posts, that align with the brand's tone and objectives, ensuring a consistent hospitality-driven narrative.
o Maintain a content calendar, ensuring regular posting and timely updates in line with campaigns and restaurant events.
* Collaborative Strategy Development:
o Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and refine the overall social media strategy.
o Brainstorm ideas together for innovative content, social campaigns, and strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement, especially in the context of restaurant culture and food experiences.
o Assist in launching campaigns that are integrated with broader marketing initiatives and product launches, such as new menu items, events, and promotions.
* Community Management:
o Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
o Build and nurture an active community by engaging with followers, influencers, and hospitality industry advocates.
o Monitor and report on feedback, trends, and key insights from the community, ensuring a positive brand perception.
* Performance Analysis & Reporting:
o Track and analyse the performance of social media posts and campaigns, using tools such as Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, and Facebook Business Suite.
o Provide regular reports to the Head of Marketing on KPIs, highlighting growth, engagement, and areas for improvement.
o Adjust strategies based on data to optimise performance and meet objectives.
* Advertising & Paid Media:
o Assist with the creation and management of paid social campaigns (if applicable), including budget tracking and ad performance analysis.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience:1+ years of experience in social media management, particularly within the hospitality industry, or a strong familiarity with hospitality-related content creation.
* Education:A degree in a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Social Media Expertise:Proficient in using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter) and social media management tools.
* Content Creation Skills:Experience with basic graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro) to create visually appealing, food-centric content.
* Creative Eye:Must have an eye for appealing content, keeping up to date with photographic and video trends, especially in food and restaurant settings.
* Hospitality Knowledge:Familiarity with the hospitality sector, and an ability to create content that captures the essence of restaurant culture, food presentation, and customer experiences.
* Analytical Skills:Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools. Ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Excellent Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adopt the brand voice and create compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
* Organisational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Creative Mindset:Ability to think outside the box and come up with fresh, innovative ideas that align with the brands identity.
* Passion for Social Media:An understanding of social media trends, best practices, and the importance of community engagement.
