An opportunity has become available to join the Aramark UK team as a General Manager on site at one of our key clients in the Bicester area. This is a full time and permanent role which will involve working weekdays and some weekends and is responsible for developing and executing strategy, advocating for your client, encouraging dedication, driving engagement, and delivering positive financial results.
Reporting to our Regional Director of Operations, you will own the main prisoner catering and staff mess provision.
This role will ideally have a November start dependant on MOJ vetting.

Job Responsibilities
* Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the sites and the respective teams
* Adhere to set annual budgets for sites and achieve them
* Maintain financial information system as required by Aramark and the client
* Support with menu planning and stock management
* Implement and maintain appropriate procedures on site as outlined by HR, Q&S, Internal Audits
* Assume overall responsibility for Quality and Safety compliance on sites
* Monitor and evaluate site performance and productivity
* Maintain good communications and working relationships with your client, key customers and all staff
* Consistently and proactively review financial and operational performance of contracts to ensure the achievement of all business and financial targets
* Identify opportunities at site level and investigate potential
* Manage recruitment, training and development of management team on site and to provide regular feedback on performance
* Attend operations/management meetings as required
* Follow all client security procedures
Key Requirements
* Experience operating as a General Manager in a contract catering/ facilities business
* Ability to lead a team to success and drive standards
* Experience managing a P&L and associated finances
