IRecruit4 are currently searching for a Quality Engineer, for a prestigious sheet metal and fabrication business based on the outskirts of Chippenham. As a Quality Engineer, you will have the responsibility and autonomy to drive a transformation journey across our manufacturing business, embedding a continual improvement-focussed Quality Assurance culture.

Key Responsibilities
* Working closely with Customers and Suppliers alike to build robust relationships.
* Working closely with all internal areas of the business.
* You will use initiative and sound judgement to ensure and assure continued compliance to customers' and industry quality requirements and specifications.
* You will identify the best quality tools and execute investigations / analysis in order to improve product and process quality, to reduce the cost of quality fails and support/enhance the brand reputation.
* Full responsibility for all aspects of the QMS and compliance to customer, industry, and regulatory requirements, such as ISO9001, ISO14001 etc.
* Lead the development and implementation of short, medium and long-term objectives with respect to product assurance and quality.
* Developing a 'zero defect' mindset within the manufacturing process.
* Driving a RFT programme across the business that drives improvement across all processes ensuring repeatability and predictability.
* Lead training and development of a ‘best-in-class’ Quality and Manufacturing team.
* Being a key member of the Team.
Who we’re looking for?
* Proven track record as a successful Quality Leader (you may be manager or senior quality engineer) within regulated engineering environments. We are open to applicants from different sectors (could be aerospace, automotive, power generation, rail, defence, electronics etc.).
