Who you’ll be working with As the digital innovation, consulting and transformation business of the Capgemini Group, Capgemini Invent helps CxOs envision and build what’s next for their organizations. We’re located in more than 30 offices and 10 creative studios around the world, and our 6,000 strong team combines strategy, technology, data science and creative design with deep industry expertise and insights, to develop new digital solutions and business models of the future. You’ll be working in the Resource Management and Business Operations team. This is a team of 5 managing the resource requirements for all of our consultants based in the UK across the 6 Capability Units. The focus of your role The objective of your role is to proactively manage the resourcing process, identify issues affecting resourcing performance, then help to develop solutions working with a wide variety of stakeholders in order to support the Management Team in ensuring Capgemini Invent meets its financial and non-financial targets. It also includes an element of analysis. You will be the trusted advisor to both Senior Managements selling new projects, as well as to Management Consultants coming available for new projects. Your role is critical in business operations to maximise profitability for the business. What you’ll do You’ll be working closely with Project and Programme Managers, and Business Development Managers and VPs in Invent UK. You will own the skills requests for your Capability Unit. You will identify appropriate candidates to submit and discuss with account leads. Once identified you will discuss the new roles with the consultants and keep track of status updates in our Resource Management System (Retain). Building Relationships You’ll actively seek placement opportunities for resources coming available. By building great relationships with Account Leads and other Resource Managers, you will identify new opportunities and recommend suitable resources. Through meeting with and building relationships with your resources, you will understand their career aspirations and development needs Reporting In the absence of fee paid roles, you will place resources onto sales support and other non-billable work that supports the Invent UK pipeline and internal initiatives. You will provide Management Information, as required, to the Capability Team Heads/BTLs, Business Operation Managers and Consultants. You will update Retain with forecasted project information. What you’ll bring You’ll bring previous experience in either Resource Management or Recruitment, either in house or agency. In addition, you’ll have the following experience and personal attributes: Experience: You’ll bring excellent communication and presentation skills.
