As the Master Data Manager, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and advancing our cluster insights data strategy. Principal Accountabilities
1. Design and Define Data Assets: Ensure high standards and establish comprehensive BAU processes.
2. Manage 3rd Party Data Relations: Oversee relationships and establish clear lines of escalation.
3. Data Custodianship: Manage all Insight local data assets, including EPOS data.
4. Set Data Standards and Policies: Define and uphold standards, administer systems and infrastructure.
5. Source and Coordinate New Data Assets: Manage procurement and oversee a £1 million+ data budget.
6. Implement Cross-Functional Processes: Lead collaborative processes to ensure data quality and compliance.
Skills and Experience Required
1. Data Management: Expertise in designing, defining, and managing data assets, ensuring high standards and effective administration.
2. Strategic Thinking: Ability to shape and advance data strategies, influence policies, and drive data-driven decision-making.
3. Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing relationships with third-party data providers and internal stakeholders, establishing clear processes and lines of communication.
4. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in administering systems and infrastructure, implementing technical data standards, and ensuring compliance.
5. Project Management: Competence in structuring and controlling projects, providing clear requirements, and ensuring desired outcomes.
6. Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, promote best practices, and foster a collaborative environment to achieve organisational goals.
