Your Role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant: Provide individualised support to a child, focusing on their academic and emotional well-being. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored lesson plans and learning resources. Encourage focus and engagement, adapting activities to suit the child’s learning style. Monitor progress and contribute to their academic and social development. Create a positive and inclusive space that fosters confidence and independence. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children is essential, ideally in a school setting. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt and use initiative. Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience working with children with additional learning needs. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certification).
