Electrical Contracts Manager Salary: Very competitive D.O.E Car allowance Overview: One of our well-established clients is seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. This role focuses on ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and on time, while upholding safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple jobs rather than solely high-value contracts and will demonstrate strong skills in upselling and enhancing client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage multiple electrical contracts from start to finish, ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations. Prepare accurate Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and submit them to clients as required. Conduct site health and safety audits and deliver toolbox talks to ensure compliance with regulations. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring tasks, timelines, and resources are planned effectively. Lead and support site engineers, providing mentoring, conducting appraisals, and driving team performance. Monitor and control budgets, ensuring all costs, including time and materials, are managed effectively. Conduct site surveys, prepare accurate quotations, and tender for small to medium-sized projects. Manage contractual obligations, variations, and changes, ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and addressing any issues promptly. Identify opportunities for upselling and promoting additional services to maximise client value. Provide clear communication on project progress, milestones, and any deviations to internal stakeholders and clients. Attend client and internal meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and performance. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. About You: Hold a relevant NVQ or Degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong organisational approach. Solid knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. A track record of identifying opportunities to upsell and enhance client offerings. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software. A proactive and motivated team player with a positive attitude.
