About the role As the Optimisation Engineer within Optimised, you will be part of the BeMS / Smart Buildings Engineering team, responsible for performing optimisation works, planned preventative and reactive maintenance, using state of the art IOT and analytic platforms. You will be responsible for delivering small/medium sized projects (in the commercial real estate, retail, hospitality and pharmaceutical sectors) and will have the ability to create and modify software strategies. You will coordinate site works with client project teams and other trade professionals. What you’ll actually do Undertake site based and remote BMS system maintenance Fault finding BMS related controls issues and identifying the route cause from software to HVAC plant Delivery of project works including high level integration and energy optimisation Liaise with internal management, clients and third parties to achieve project goals Support installation and commissioning site works Develop and deploy BMS and energy optimisation works Support the growth of the business by expanding skills through development and training as well as sharing knowledge and skills with others to aid in growth of the overall project delivery team Work in a team environment; motivating and supporting all team members during the lifecycle of a project Build and maintain relationship with the clients, looking after the needs of their sites, and making improvements where applicable What you’ll need Experienced in the maintenance of Building Management Systems Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (ideally HNC/ONC or equivalent) Qualified and experienced in one or more systems; Trend, Tridium, Cylon A knowledge and experience in Trend IQ Vision/N4 would be advantageous but not essential Must have a full, clean driving license Eligibility to work in the UK About us Optimised deliver quantifiable business outcomes to commercial businesses through a comprehensive suite of energy, renewables and sustainability services and technologies while driving a net zero carbon agenda.
