Would you like to become a tutor and support children outside of mainstream learning? Have you got experience working with young people on a 1:1 basis?
We are looking for educators in Kent to work with young people who aren’t currently accessing mainstream school, to work 1:1 with them as a tutor!
Our roles typically involve working with children who are looked after, children with challenging behaviour and SEN/ SEMH needs. Our educators provide educational in – person sessions with children either at their homes or in a public setting like a library. The location for this would vary dependent on the need of the pupil but would be pre-agreed prior to commencement of the tuition.
Here at TP, we work with young people of all ages, from EYFS to Post 16, and are looking for educators to support predominantly with English, Maths or Science.
What are we looking for?
* Our roles would be perfect for a qualified teacher, SEN/ SEMH specialist or a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
* Have experience working with children or young people with SEN/ SEMH needs.
* Being able to bridge the gaps in a young persons education.
* Able to plan and deliver engaging core academic sessions, tailored to the pupil’s learning level.
* Assessing and track the pupils progress to achieve their desired learning outcomes and provide feedback.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
