A skilled and adaptable Credit Controller required to join a dynamic team for a part-time position, working approximately 30 hours per week (during school hours). This is an exciting opportunity to manage a complex and diverse portfolio, with responsibilities including overseeing 1,200+ properties across multiple currencies and worldwide timeframes. You will handle a variety of credit control tasks, including managing commissions, reservations, bookings, and monthly fees, while also dealing with aged debt and ledgers that are in a good place for ongoing improvements.
The ideal candidate will be AAT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) and have experience working in a multi-faceted, reactive environment. As the company is in the early stages of automating billings, you’ll play an essential role in managing fluctuating processes, especially during busy month-ends. Your day-to-day will involve managing a variety of challenges, including language barriers, complex credit control processes, and ever-changing timeframes. Being adaptable, flexible, and able to juggle multiple tasks effectively is key to succeeding in this role.
Skills and Experience:
1. AAT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent).
2. Proven experience in complex credit control, preferably in a multi-currency environment.
3. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships.
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and reactive environment, especially during peak periods.
