Wood is currently recruiting for a Contract Administrator (contract) with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical, renewable energy and energy transition industries. This position will be hired on a limited contractor basis for a period of 12 months (outside IR35) working in Central London in our clients office on a IPMT contract. Hybrid working will be considered. Responsibilities All aspects of Contractor contract administration Administration of payment application and progress reports Administration of contractual correspondence, including preparation of letters and other contractual notices Administration of contract variations, including negotiations with the Contractor Drafting and reviewing of contract amendments Administration and approval of award of purchase orders and subcontracts through the tendering process Assisting with the preparation of the EPC request for tender packages Assisting with the conformance of EPC contract documentation Qualifications What makes you remarkable? Expected: An appropriate professional technical or legal qualification Extensive experience in the commercial and contractual management of contractors in the oil and gas petrochemicals and renewable energy and energy transition contracting environments A good understanding of the oil and gas petrochemical and renewable energy and energy transition contracting environments A sound working knowledge of key terms within engineering services head contracts Detailed understanding of key contract risks, with the ability to develop and manage risk mitigations to closure Broad experience in developing and negotiating variations with contractors Hands on experience managing the tendering of large complex high value EPC contracts Ability to analyse and interpret complex and detailed commercial and contractual issues and to develop and present solutions Ability to work independently and as part of the integrated project management team
