Are you a problem-solver with a passion for continuous improvement and quality assurance? We are seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, addressing, and implementing solutions for customer-related issues to ensure ongoing satisfaction and enhance processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues, managing the process from complaint logging to investigation and resolution.
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to implement system enhancements and on-site solutions.
* Generate detailed investigation reports and liaise with customers to understand their needs and expectations fully.
* Provide monthly reports on customer complaints and issues, identifying trends and improvements.
* Encourage a team environment that promotes learning, development, and openness to change, while contributing to the continuous improvement culture.
The Successful Customer Quality Engineer:
* The ideal candidate will bring a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering customer-focused solutions. You’ll thrive in a team-oriented environment and have a proven track record in quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency and ideally qualification in electrical and/ or mechanical engineering.
* Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis and 8D reporting.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* A proactive attitude towards resolving issues and providing effective solutions for customers and internal stakeholders.
* A valid UK driving license.
(Site-based with occasional remote work flexibility after six months)
