This is an exciting position within Paid Social for an Account Director, working on one of Havas Media’s top tier clients. As part of the role, you’ll be feeding into two well-established and dynamic teams – your direct team in which you’re supported with Paid Social specialists across all levels.

Office Location: HKX Building, 3 Pancras Square, Kings Cross
The Role
Your focus will be to lead on campaign responses, build relationships with the client team, and direct the day-to-day deliverables of your team, as well as ensuring finance and monthly reconciliation are in order. Your team will consist of one dedicated Manager and one dedicated Executive. You will report into the Paid Social Business Director.
As part of the role, you’ll be expected to manage key pieces of business, providing superior service and delivering innovative paid social solutions. Working with your Manager, you will apply your knowledge of paid social to identify the most appropriate formats, targeting, and platforms to help achieve business outcomes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving positive brand and performance results through an unrivalled understanding of social channels and consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct the Paid Social media activity
* Line manage team members and ensure ongoing training and development
* Work directly with clients to develop plans, manage issues, and maintain positive relationships
* Manage internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing work effectively
* Ensure client work is of high quality, delivered to brief, deadline, and budget
* Own the relationship with key partners (e.g. Facebook) and ensure quality execution
* Bring innovative and inspiring thinking to the team and client
* Participate in new business opportunities to drive revenue
Client strategy and planning:
* Lead and execute on the annual client strategy and planning
* Utilize tech partners and tools for data and insight in client strategy
* Challenge clients with innovative thinking and formats
Client management:
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure work is on brief and delivering KPIs
* Push clients to adopt broader Social services and innovative campaign ideas
* Address client challenges and ensure clear briefs and budgets
People management:
* Line manage two team members, ensuring regular meetings and clear objectives
New business:
* Assist on new business pitches or proposals for incumbent media clients
Who we’re looking for:
* Experience in setting up Facebook and Instagram campaigns essential
* Self-starter with a proactive attitude
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in Paid Social, ideally in media agencies
* Proven knowledge of social media plans, paid activation, optimization, and reporting
* Clear communication skills with a strong ability to present ideas
