The Role
A secondary academy in South Bristol is seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join a highly committed and motivated Physical Education department. The department consistently delivers high outcomes across all key stages and offers a range of qualifications, including:
* AQA GCSE PE
* OCR Cambridge National Sport Science
* BTEC Sport
The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic team that places physical education at the heart of the academy, aiming to instil a lifelong love for physical activity in students.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Promote health and wellbeing through a holistic approach to PE
* Support students in developing physical literacy and articulating key knowledge
* Contribute to an extensive extracurricular programme, including team and individual sports
* Engage with strong community partnerships, including Bristol City Football Club, Bristol Bears, Angels Dance Academy, and Broad Plain Rugby Club
* Provide leadership opportunities for students through a bespoke sports leadership programme
