ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Sponsor Logistics Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides an outstanding experience and the fulfilment of sponsorship across the event. This role will focus on ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of sponsorship for a range of clients at Shoptalk. You will be the main point of contact for these sponsors and effectively manage all aspects of their sponsorship package, supporting them with any queries and providing them with all the information they need to meet deadlines and have a successful event.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
* Acting as the main point of contact for sponsors, replying to all queries in a timely manner and providing them with all necessary information and deadlines throughout the duration of the show cycle
* Collaborative and pragmatic approach to working with stakeholders on the client-side and internally across Content, Sales, Marketing, Event Operations and Finance departments in order to effectively deliver sponsorship
* Leading on the sponsorship delivery for a range of Sponsors across a variety of products, including but not limited to: Meeting packages, feature builds, offsite experiences
* Develop and execute project plans for smooth sponsorship fulfilment including assisting sponsors in navigating platforms for meetings programs
* Conducting audits of data to provide consistent and timely reporting of projects and meet identified deadlines
* Managing and maintaining cost tracker with good financial acumen.
* Oversee the management of the Sponsor Support inbox and run communications effectively which will include responding to incoming emails and conducting onboarding calls where necessary
* Support in the management of the sponsorship inventory and being a lead in providing operational advice and assistance to the Sales
* Manage floorplan layouts with the relevant sales personnel ensuring they are correct according to all venue and local authority regulations and are in line with the show's strategies
* Support with training and development of the Operations Executive and equivalent
* Build and maintain last relationships with sales team, providing information and support regarding inventory packages, and working with the team to develop and price new ideas for clients
WHO YOU ARE:
To be successful in this role, you must have/be:
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or experience with events of +70 sponsors
* Experience in a client facing role with a natural and professional style with customers
* Floorplan management experience – creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting space requirements
* Ability to build strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under strict time management
* Great attention to detail and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Problem solver, with a positive can-do attitude
* Skilled use of Microsoft Office applications
* Able to travel – this role is required to be onsite for all shows, as well as pre-planning meetings
* Health and safety training is an advantage – IOSH or G-guide preferred
