Sellick Partnership is seeking a skilled Legal Family Secretary to join a firm in Luton. The ideal candidate will have substantial secretarial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce documents and correspondence as directed by lawyers
2. Support solicitors and partners with the day-to-day running of their files
3. Produce documents and correspondence using audio/copy typing
4. Efficiently handle telephone enquiries and calls
5. Provide assistance and deal with tasks as delegated
6. File administration and data management
7. Attend to clients and others, both on the telephone and in person
8. Support in firm-wide and departmental marketing events as requested
The successful candidate will:
1. Have previous experience as a legal secretary
2. Demonstrate a courteous, helpful, and pleasant manner both in person and on the phone
3. Be a proficient typist, with knowledge of MS Word and case management systems
4. Organise the workload to meet challenging/changing deadlines, ensuring prioritisation of different work matters across the team
5. Be a good team player, willing to offer support to others
6. Be enthusiastic, flexible, and efficient in a helpful and friendly manner when dealing with clients
7. Be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently or within a team
8. Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and oral communication
