OneFile, a Harris Computer company, is recruiting a Sales Director to join the team.
The position will be hybrid working, between our Manchester office and the successful incumbent's home address. Therefore, the ideal candidate would live between Birmingham and the North-East of England.
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for building and coaching the sales team, implementing processes that make them successful, and building a reporting model to analyze where your team is succeeding and where improvements can be made to increase revenue.
The purpose of this role is to build, resource, and manage a successful sales function capable of supporting the business growth strategy. This will be achieved by working with our Marketing, Customer, and Product teams to utilize customer insight data and lead the new business development, client engagement, and key account management teams to deliver exceptional customer experience to convert opportunities into revenue.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
1. Defining and executing against aggressive growth plans
2. Ownership of all the revenue and bookings of the company
3. Careful management of the Opex
4. Ensure retention and development of existing customer relationships through account management, strategic account planning, and executive sponsorship programmes
5. Regular and accurate forecasting of revenue and cost management
6. Building strong prospect/customer relationships in the education/training sector
7. Working with Marketing to generate leads through all necessary channels
8. Building a strong pipeline of potential (qualified) prospects
9. Achieving sales goals/quotas of the team and enabling the team to achieve targets through management and support
10. Participating in national and regional tradeshows
11. Preparing reports detailing the status of all accounts
12. Travel is essential in order to work with the team and visit existing and potential customers. Travel will likely involve circa 3-4 overnight stays per month, however, depending on the business need, at times this may increase.
