The Role:
As a Platform Engineer, you will undertake cross-functional engineering projects, collaborating within small teams to build sustainable and reliable services. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge open-source technologies, cloud platforms, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines to develop innovative solutions. Your role will be central to driving the UK public sector's digital transformation, ensuring user-centric design and scalable, modern software architectures such as microservices.
* Experience troubleshooting complex, high-availability systems.
* Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Expertise in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
* Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible.
* A history of providing leadership or mentorship in technical projects.
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools.
