JOB PURPOSE
The role holder will be the subject matter expert in the cash-up process within the Europe FET team, with in-depth knowledge of the Europe cash-up tool and its critical role in the company's S&OP process. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality and hygiene from pre cash up to the final forecast, partnering with BU Finance business partners to resolve pricing issues, identifying and addressing any discrepancies in forecasted numbers, governing the overall process run by the D&A team and ensuring end-to-end completeness and sign off from country and business unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for:
1. Ensuring data hygiene checks from pre cash up to the final submitted forecast.
2. Ensuring all missing prices detail or TMI detail are addressed on time.
3. Ensuring AMB is updated from pre cash up to the final submitted forecast.
4. Ensuring final FC sign-off by country.
5. Ensuring the D&A Data scientist performs effective data remodelling and retraining for TMI forecast.
Accountable for:
1. Running the pre-cash-up process and providing insights into the financial forecast during pre-cashup week (updated daily in week 2).
2. Fixing potential list price and transfer price issues and providing details on missing list prices and transfer prices.
3. Offering insights into the financial forecast based on the volume forecast snapshot from the end of week 2.
4. Creating the current year forecast for other SC costs which are non-TP related, based on last year(s) actuals.
5. Ensuring P&L is actualized in the Cashup tool during month-end close.
6. Ensuring D&A pulls the OH and BMI from Plan my spend.
7. Reporting GMVA for the cycle.
Provide support on:
1. BG led market adjustments in the Cashup tool.
2. 1UL market manual adjustments executed by 1UL FP&A team.
ALL ABOUT YOU
1. Finance professional with solid experience in Business Planning (forecasting) and the S&OP process (Sales & Operations Planning) and an understanding of Finance’s role within it.
2. Structured and well-organized, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while looking for ways to improve processes.
3. Independent worker, able to make decisions and deliver to timetable with a very high degree of autonomy.
4. Strong at business communication and partnering.
5. Inquisitive mind and problem-solving skills – ability to handle complex sets of data and find sources of error with speed.
6. Deep understanding of highly complex business processes and the ability to translate these and break them down into simple, navigable pieces.
7. Advanced Excel skills – ability to manipulate large volumes of data efficiently and accurately.
