Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Johnson & Johnson means "You Belong" Role Purpose Senior Medical Advisor IBD Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Medical Advisor for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) portfolio. In this role, based at our High Wycombe office, The Senior Medical Advisor will report to the UK IBD Medical Lead and will be a key member of the cross-functional therapy area team involved in the delivery of value through medical input and leadership to strategy and activities for the benefit of patients and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain awareness of the latest scientific and clinical advances in IBD through actively engaging with key clinicians and academics - Build and maintain a good understanding of NHS issues affecting the therapy area, including NHS priorities and market access issues or barriers - Contribute to the local evidence generation plan, identify data gaps and propose mechanisms to fill them - Involvement in the development of the medical affairs strategy for IBD - Lead and collaborate on projects and activities in support of the medical plan - Collaborate with Market Access colleagues providing medical expertise on Health Technology Appraisal submission(s) as needed for the business - Review materials and activities as a final signatory - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic partnership - Develop positive relationships with relevant Thought Leaders - Support and drive the launch activities in IBD Qualifications Qualifications GMC registered physician or pharmacist registered in the UK Experience and Skills Required - Experience in the pharmaceutical industry - Good understanding of ABPI Code of Practice - Ability to learn quickly, build and maintain relationships - Strong project management skills and demonstrated experiences in leading clinical/ scientific programs with a high degree of autonomy - ABPI code final signatory status Preferred: - Experience supporting Health Technology Appraisal Submissions - Strong clinical background and/or experience in IBD - Clinical experience in the NHS - Final Signatory
