Head of Sales & Marketing - Premium Retail & E-Commerce Sales
Location: Powys-Shropshire border
Salary: c.£70 - £80k + Bonus

Seymour John have been retained as Executive Search partners by Stashed Products Ltd to secure a Head of Sales & Marketing. Stashed Products is a business on a mission to become the World's number 1 bike storage company. Currently turning over £2m after just 3 years of trade, 2024 has seen Stashed transform from a great idea with genius innovation to a legitimate Award-Winning business that is growing at an astonishing rate through organic sales alone. Founded by Elliot Tanner, an R&D Engineering Expert and cycling enthusiast, Stashed Products developed a multi-million turnover business from his own home during the pandemic. Since its inception, Stashed has outgrown 2 sites and rapidly grown their headcount to meet mounting demand.
As the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role within the business, providing your expert knowledge to drive multi-channel sales and marketing strategies, including entering the Global retail and distribution networks in parallel with growing Direct to Consumer sales through E-commerce and digital marketing.
The Opportunity:
Reporting into the Founder / Managing Director, you will lead the Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Customer Services team. We hope you can motivate and develop this team to target and achieve even greater success.
1. Team leadership and motivation: Lead, manage, and motivate the team to achieve the best results possible.
2. Creating the Sales Strategy: Identify priorities for market focus and resource deployment. Forecast and budget.
3. Implementing Sales Growth: Win, negotiate, and manage business with retailers, while continuing to drive E-Commerce business generating £2m annually.
4. Account management: Take a personal interest in growing existing customer account spend and developing a network of commercial customers.
5. Develop marketing strategies: Deliver scalable growth through E-commerce, digital paid ads, social media, and retail.
6. End-to-end communication and problem solving: Align strategy, operations, and minds with Stashed's approach to servicing customers and sales ambitions.
7. Senior Leadership Team member: Support, advise, solve problems, and drive strategy collaboratively.
Who are we looking for?
A proven, highly successful Head of Sales & Marketing, ideally on a Global scale who understands the culture and resources of a start-up business.
An excellent track record in inspiring, coaching, mentoring, and managing teams to achieve greater success together.
Considerable experience in at least one of the sales channels of E-Commerce or Direct-to-Retail.
A proven record in driving substantial sales growth and overcoming challenges, working cohesively across the whole business.
We are looking for a long-term appointment, so evidencing your perseverance and loyalty in the right environment is important.
Used to high growth and start-up mentality. Happy to get hands dirty and lead from the front to prove strategies. Someone who doesn't shy away from responsibility and thrives on challenge.

A European language skill, particularly German or French would be a benefit but not essential.
You will need to be happy providing access to credible referees in due course, who can support the track record and qualities requested above.
