Job summary To assist in the provision of a comprehensive and cost-effective catering service that meets the needs of staff, visitors and patients whilst fulfilling the objectives of the Trust. Duties will include assisting in the preparation, storage, packaging, distribution, cooking and service of meals, confectionary and other food items, and to undertake a wide range of general kitchen and catering hygiene duties. To work in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations, Codes of Practice for Caterers and all relevant Trust policies. Support with service delivery an exciting opportunity has become available to join the Trust's Retail Catering team. The position would require the post holder to work at Castle Hill Hospital. We have Part time hours available. The working pattern (hours of work) will rotate to meet the service demands with adequate notice given to the suitable candidate - shift times will commence from 06:00 through to 20:00. This will include weekend working. Hours and shift patterns to be agreed if successful at Interview. The role is front of house and back of house within the cafe's and restaurants on site serving a range of food and beverage items, from time to time this will include hospitality services to any functions/meetings held on the premises.
