Job Overview
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm (37.5)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 p/a
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects within our organisation.
The role of the Project Manager is to lead back-office resource to ensure targets are achieved throughout the lifecycle of the project. Working closely with the Patch Manager, the Project Manager will focus on Stakeholder Relationships, Commercials & overall performance of the project while at the same time providing a road map for their planners to gain the knowledge & experience required to become a competent project manager for future projects.
Our client Openreach has the largest Telecom infrastructure in the UK. Our department works closely with Openreach to help design, maintain and build this network by providing and replacing telegraph poles.

Responsibilities
* Implement an effective plan capable of meeting all SLA’s.
* Ensure the efficient planning of both direct labour and partner resource.
* Forecast & exceed budgeted level of completions each week.
* Be able to accurately report on the progress of individual tasks and the overall programme.
* Make decisions considering the commercial impacts they may have.
* Lead a team of planners and ensure that they are held responsible for their KPI’s.
* Attend F2F and online meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to provide updates daily.
Experience and Skills
* Experience of working within a large-scale engineering project.
* Strong streetworks knowledge and understanding of permitting.
* Have knowledge of the poling industry or construction background.
* Experience of reporting into director level (internal and external i.e. partners/clients).
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
* Strong administration and organisation skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure, ensure deadlines are met and manage business expectations.
* Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
* Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
* Strong IT skills (experience with Microsoft applications preferable).
* Leadership qualities.
* Strong commercial understanding and numeracy skills.
