The Sixth Form leadership team is a collegiate and hardworking team of staff who care passionately about student welfare and attainment. Sixth Form academic and vocational provision has developed significantly over the past three years, and we have a trend of rapidly improving outcomes. Subjects are delivered by highly skilled, dedicated, and supportive practitioners who are passionate about their subject area. As a school, we have a strong focus on promoting employability skills and creating life-long learners.
The post holder will support the Head of Sixth Form with the operational running of the Sixth Form. This will include the recruitment, induction, retention, and academic monitoring of all Sixth Form students. They will provide teaching and learning support to secure excellent standards of achievement, attendance, punctuality, and standards while supporting the enrichment, personal development, and wellbeing of all. They will support students in their progression to Post 18 pathways, liaising with appropriate bodies and organizing events to maximize student progression from Post 16 to the next phase. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in an ever-expanding and competitive Sixth Form.
